A south Windsor favorite for over 10 years, good service good food . If you are in town check this cozy local place , you will enjoy it .

So happy we found this off google, best and freshest sushi in the area.

This is a very unassuming and low-key establishment that delivers a great level of service. I have never been to this restaurant and not experienced prompt service and delicious food. Their quality of fish has never disappointed and some of their other dishes like the Yaki Udon and Beef Negimaki are great as well. My go to dishes are usually Spicy Tuna roll and Eel Avocado as well. The dynamite roll is also a favorite. As a New Englander, I have a soft spot in my heart for fish and anything seafood related. This place is where I go when it's time to feed the sushi craving.

Food wasn't bad but service is awful...i suggest takeout!

Absolutely top-notch sushi restaurant. Uniformly excellent, every single time. More expensive than the buffets but you get what you pay for. Recommend the Deluxe Sushi for Two, outstanding!!!!

Amazing sushi at a reasonable price. The rolls were well made and had interesting flavor combinations; the sashimi was fresh, cut well, and nicely sized; and the the sushi pieces had a decent ratio of fish to rice. The seaweed salad was the same stuff you get everywhere, but the salad dressing was a bit different; we really liked it.

The sushi at higashi is really good. Service is always excellent. Always greatest with a smile. I live 30 minutes away and think nothing of driving just for a spicy tuna roll.

Clean place fresh fish, only down fall is spicy tuna wasn’t spicy at all very small portions of fish in each sushi think they put too much tempera. On a positive note the Calamari salad out of this world.

Meh. Nothing special. Staff was Chinese. Sushi lunch was okay. I noticed most people ordered the lunch roll special after my meal arrived. I would probably do that if I ever go back. Salad was served without dressing. Meal options listed on menu (edamame or shumai or gyoza) were not actually offered. I ordered salmon nigiri to more accurately assess because the lunch was meh and the nigiri was adequately sized and fresh. Rice portions were oddly small.Miso soup was good but all broth. Water served in Mason jar mugs with straws. Service was adequately attentive.

Excellent food, service and presentation. So many choices Asian, Japanese and Chinese. I tried their General Tso Chicken, served with White rice and Broccoli hands dowm, the best I have had. Their Pork Fried Rice, was so fresh, delicious and plentiful. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Try it, you won't be disappointed.🥡🍤🥟🥢💗

Really nice service! Went during lunch around noon on a friday. Sushi was delightful. Took my little sister to try sushi for her first time, she loved it.

Food is delicious but be prepared to pay $5 per person as an "eat in fee". They even charged us for the baby who was 2 at the time, he didn't even eat his own, my husband and I gave him food from our plates. $15 for the three of us to just eat inside is absolutely ridiculous, then we had to pay for food, drinks and tip on top of it. We won't be going back.

It was okay. I had the fried pork dumplings and 3 rolls for lunch. I've had a lot better.

I went here for Valentine's Day with my fianceé and I had gyoza and a really nice bento box. It was cozy and quiet and the place was very clean. I liked the atmosphere a lot.

To be fair I hate the whole "theater cooking" experience. The food is decent but the onion volcano and throwing shrimp at me like I am a seal is a major "no thanks" for me. Decent food and a good place for a one time event. I wouldnt go back just because I have seen the "show" already

Our favorite place to get sushi hands down

We have been going here since they opened a long time ago and still great. It has even gotten better over time. Excellent sushi. Generous portions, reasonable pricing, great service. Jimmy, Jason & Lama treat you like friends and you can't wait to go back because it is that good. Wish I lived closer, I would be there every day. Tip - try the volcano. You will be blown away! Enjoy.

So fresh! Portions so big. Sushi actually have nice content and not 90% rice. Sashimi actually has huge portions. Recommend octopus sashimi.
